it’s a shame, big shame that the governor of bayelsa state in southern nigeria has jumped bail in London. he was standing trial for money laundry amounting to 1million pounds. that he jumped bail is an indictment on our democracy, if we want to be taken serious in the comitee of nations he should be impeached immediately by the bayelsa house of assembly. the ball is in our court.

however britain need to look again at their security apparatus. If two people could escape persecution under their watch I wonder what kind of policing they gat. joseph dariye the serving governor of platue state in northern nigeria also jumped bail in a similar offence in London last year. where are we heading nigeria,

2decades of brutish kaki rule.

salute to africa's female president

a new chapter got opened in the history of africa this week. for the first time ever a lady president has emerged in a continent bedeviled by despotic savages, touting macho superiorityand raping the economies of their country in broad day light.

i welcome mrs. ellen johnson sirleaf the first ever black woman to rule in africa. however my worry is the enormity of the task she has to take on knowing that liberia has being strugling to get her footing after over a decade of civil war. it is hoped her experience at world bank would be put to bear to bring her country from the dust where she now sprowl.

like the thachers and aquino's of this world i hope you make a mark and leave for posterity good works, and also serve as a clarion call to all women in africa that peharps its time to take the reigns of power from the male folks for they have dastardly ravaged the whole continent. once again welcome.

obasanjo, obasanjo and obasanjo. those were the words of tom ikimi at the last primaries of pdp at abuja that saw obasanjo becoming the flag bearer for the second time for the self acclaimed biggest political party in africa- peoples destruction party (pdp).

today after 2years into his second term sycophants are at it again, led by nigerias professional minister, prof. jerry gana( he has served in every government since late 80's). they are canvassing for a third term for obasanjo against the will of nigerians and against the constitution both obasanjo and his kitchen cabinet have sworn to protect. they had better watch it. that nigerians are peace loving people does not maen they are stupid or senseless. there is no wehere it is written that the right or wisdom to rule is specially reserved for some few block heads.

they had better watch it, we all cherish the idea of one nigeria, but if some few want to make nonsense of this premise, some of us will be forced to ask the qustion- what portion do we have in nigeria, what inheritace, to your tents....
